Another set of dastardly mysteries solved, this week on Doomed To Fail!
Oh look! An audio postcard from your good friend Doomed To Fail, who is traveling abroad. Isn't it nice that they're thinking of you?
This week's postcard is from San Sebastian, a beach town in Northern Spain with a surprisingly deep history. It also has a jazz festival and, briefly, had Tim visiting it. All of these things and more can be heard in the postcard.
A short one this week: There's a place in Boston that serves a very special cookie. Since it's really more of a cookie discussion than a Boston discussion, we left it out of that podcast. Here it is now.
Also, our next three weeks are going to be a little different than usual - we'll be sending you audio postcards from Tim's trip to Europe. Exciting!
It's Accent Week this week on Doomed To Fail. To kick it off, we talk about Boston, the city whose accent people love to do terrible imitations of. Don't worry, actual accents in the show have been kept to a minimum.
What is a sandwich? There are a surprising number of opinions! Join us for this week's discussion on sandwiches that ranges, surprisingly, from English noblemen to ancient Jewish rabbis to a Worcester, MA court. It's all here!
