This month we will have our usual social dinner but as an added element of fun our president will be taking on the role of Quiz Master for a short period during the evening.
The quiz will start at 7:15 and finish by 8 o'clock allowing plenty of time to catch up with new and old friends both before and after.
Win some great prizes and of course the all important bragging rights while having a laugh.
Bring some friends, join a team on the night with some new friends or go it alone if you're feeling confident enough.
If a quiz doesn't appeal to your sense of fun and whimsy there will be a space available for you to continue your conversations.

It is not necessary for a person to be a paid member of The Atheist Community of South Australia Incorporated to attend this event. Committee members will be available on the night to answer your questions about the Atheist Community of South Australia. Membership application forms will also be available on the night or you can print and prefill one yourself and bring it along!

Great news everyone!

As of July 18th, The Atheist Community of South Australia is formally an incorporated association under the Act. I'd like to thank all those who have been involved in the long process to get this off the ground and who have refused to let naysayers discourage them.

This step gives The Atheist Community of South Australia Inc the ability to raise monies for projects that benefit and promote the broader community of atheist, agnostic and non religious peoples in South Australia.

Stay tuned!!

The monthly social meetups are a great way to meet fellow atheists and be a part of the greater atheist community in South Australia. Each month we gather for a meal, a few drinks, and a chat about anything and everything. Whether you've been an atheist for your entire life, or have only recently walked away from religion, you're welcome to come along and hang out for a few hours amidst a friendly atmosphere.

Story
Introduction
The Atheist Community of South Australia Inc exists to support and promote the atheist, agnostic and non-religious communities of South Australia. We do this by raising monies to run exciting, educational, social and relevant events for all members and non-members.

The Atheist Community of South Australia was born out of a desire of members of the former Adelaide Atheists Meetup Group to have a more organised and viable way of putting on events of a calibre that would attract attendees from all walks of life

Our Mission
  1. Work to further unite and expand the atheist community of South Australia by hosting social events, promoting sceptical and rational discussion, and providing a safe and inclusive environment for those questioning their religion
  2. Advocate for a true secular society with a separation of church and state, and the removal of all religious privilege under the law
  3. Publicly challenge claims regarding truth and existence that are based on superstition and religious dogma
  4. Increase the public understanding that atheism is compatible with an ethical, rational, and compassionate philosophy
  5. Participate in community service and humanitarian projects.
