My local course. Owned by the city of Irving. The city doesn't help maintain the course at all, which is a shame. The layout is great and great views of the Dallas skyline. When it rains it helps this course out a lot. But in the dry months it plays like a links course. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Just wish the city would spend a little money and help improve it.

Agree with the post below....this course is definitely like Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. They clearly have not watered the course in quite some time when you have cracks in the earth that can swallow balls on the fairway.

Generally, I really enjoy playing this course, and have it in rotation of my regular places that I like to play. The course features a great layout with several ponds and a creek that runs through it. The course has a good amount of elevation and rolling terrain on several holes, along with several very scenic views of downtown Dallas. Areas around the creek are heavily wooded, and can provide quite a challenge off of the tee box. This course is probably best suited for the intermediate golfer who is looking to utilize every club in their bag. I would also say that the course is also in pretty good condition (for a municipal course anway). Tee boxes, fairways and greens are always maintained, and if you search for the right deal you won't pay a fortune to play here. I definitely plan to play here throughout the summer.

Great course! What a challenge! I loved it play it ever time I can when at home and got some time to really enjoy the game. Greens are in great shape too!

Looks like a post-apocalyptic wasteland from a zombie movie. Trust me, there is not good reason to play here. There are other options that are just as convenient and cheap, except that they actually water their grass. Also worth noting- the pictures of the course posted on their website are not actually pictures of the course.

The worst kept course in the metroplex. Its unfortunate that they care so little about the course because they layout is somewhat entertaining. Sadly there is trash everywhere, wild dogs roaming around and our cart ran out of juice on the 16th hole. Its not even that cheap so save your money and go walk any other course.
