Behind every successful entrepreneur is an instrumental person who helped them.

As for me, I am blessed to have more than one person who I am extremely grateful for. Some gave me direction like my mentors Stan Goff, John D. Kountz, and Dan Nichols

Others like Cathy McClelland, Venus Y Brown-Williams, and Shawntay Dixon believed in me and gave me my first shot at doing what I love MOST -- teaching entrepreneurs how to manage their money so that they can start and stay in business.

And, my sisters (Cheryl Derschaun Dorethia and LaTanya) who cheered me on from the sidelines. They kept me encouraged during the challenging years when I almost walked away from my vision.

I don't need a special day on a calendar to acknowledge them all. I simply pause with a heart filled with gratitude to say "Thank you!"

How about you? Who is someone that have made that type of difference in your life?

It has been proven that writing down what you want out of life and speaking it aloud three times a day gets you to that reality much faster. I can attest to this as I have always been drawn to scriptures on faith and vision.

One of my guiding principles is described in the verse that tells how faith comes by hearing and hearing... Another talks about writing the vision and making it plain. The more you hear words repeated, the more your subconscious believes it. It's true even if they come from you or someone else. That's why it's important to watch what you allow in your environment. You must be intentional about getting to the finish line.

Take a moment to write out your vision and take a snapshot of what you write. Keep it on your phone. Then set an alarm if you need to and commit to repeating what you want out loud in the morning, afternoon, and night until you see it.
