According to this article, hospital stays worsen memory in elders. Silverado understands this and uses our continuum of care to help reduce unnecessary re-hospitalizations. From 2003-2011 our Senior Living communities have limited re-hospitalizations to only 5.9% across the country…. compared to a national average of 11.9% for skilled nursing environments.
