Aircraft Demolition has been working with NASA and the Johnson Space Center the past 2 years on the restoration of the Boeing 747 SCA (Shuttle Carrier Aircraft). Recently our crews insulated and installed the main cabin interior to provide a better experience for the museum guests as they pass through the exhibit. Originally the Boeing 747 SCA  interior was removed to save weight for the additional Space Shuttle load. In the next week our crew will install four Pratt and Whitney JT9D engines to complete the exterior look of the aircraft.
