This officer was upset that Ms. Bland wasn't "looking at him" and have him answers he was unable to handle. She wasn't being mouthy, he asked a question and she answered it. She has the right to feel the way she felt and the right to voice her feelings when asked. Notice after she told him that she was frustrated and why, his reply was are you done like she wasn't simply answering a question he asked her a total of three time previous to this point in the footage. When she points out that he asked her a question so she answered it, he asks her to put out her cigerette, trying to assert his authority and power. When she correctly points out that she is in her vehicle and doesn't have to put her cigarette out, his completely shifts to full on aggression. Nonverbal communication is 93 percent of communication, the moment she refuses to put her cigarette out his neck jerked back and he said well get out of the car. The officer felt his position of authority was being challenged by Bland and attempted to assert his control in order to "save face" technically known as facework. When his facework showed to be unsuccessful, he resorted to symmetrical escalation by increasing the intensity of the conflict when he threatened to pull her out of her car and "light her up". Than after he has slammed her to the ground and says good to when she reveals she has epilepsy, he completely lies to his supervisor about the events of the conflict because I'm hindsite he is well aware that he has crossed the line. It's sad that we have individuals with absolutely no people skills charged with protecting people. In order for individuals to be allowed to work in an law enforcement position with direct contact with society, more extensive psychological assessments must be completed because it is clear that we have people who are not mentally capable of objectively resolving minor issues such as this one. He should have not have escalated the situation because his "manhood" was challenged. She told him she was on her way to work but he took his sweet time in getting her "warning" to her, meanwhile there is a woman down the road driving without proof of insurance? This is ridiculous.

Please stop Generalizing Black women. My brother dates a white women, and I love her like a sister. My nephews are half white, Stop it. There may be a few but stop talking about black women like we are all the same. Martin Luther King would be disgusted to hear such verbal abuse coming from a black man against his own race. Not all black women. I watch your videos because I find the stories interesting, but sometimes you get very nasty towards Black women, like you have a deep rooted hate towards us. Whatever/Whoever that/who has hurt you in the past that causes you to bash black women so bad, I APOLOGIZE FOR THEM/IT. Please work on it, I will be praying for you, I truly feel for you.

I understand that you have an opinion, and everyone is entitled to one, but what I don't like id the way that you speak about black women. I have watched three of your videos and the way you speak about black women is ridiculous. Don't categorize all black women as uneducated, seeking attention, and care more about their weave then what's underneath it. There are many of us who don't fit in that stereotype you so kindly have placed all of us in. Lets not overlook the fact you where given life threw a black women. Also, most of the things you focus in on, such as names, tattoos, hair choices, places of residence, having children or not, appearance, education or lack there of one, DOES NOT VALIDATE THE FACT THAT THE YOUNG WOMAN IS DECEASED! She was killed in cold blood, STOP IT.
