"Where is the source of good in people?"

It would be the same place that is the source of bad in others. It is the seat of our consciousness. The "soul" if you will... that is just plain good in some, and plain bad in others and with all sorts in-between.
We are also quite unusual because it is possible for us to move from one end of the spectrum to the other

Thousands of NATO troops died there, billions of dollars wasted. For this....

It is a special nutritional bread. And should crime be easy punishment? It only sucks for the innocent behind bars. I have had my fill of being PC. It hasn't helped our country.

This says so much about our society....a must read.

Robert Proctor doesn't think ignorance is bliss. He thinks that what you don't know can hurt you. And that there's more ignorance around than there used to be, and that its purveyors have gotten much better at filling our heads with nonsense.

Thanks for sharing. Definitely a most interesting article. I am rather fond of saying that in todays  information age; stupidity and ignorance are a personal choice. I think after reading this, I will have to revamp that opinion somewhat. It's obviously far more complicated than that. Now how to regulate bullshit to society at large? That's a doozy for even an intelligent person.

My fears to view were confirmed to some extent.. the loss of forests in Canada over the past decade are alarming.. and the lack of replacement is nothing short of irresponsible!
I knew I would feel sick at the loss.

They go after this harmless woman while crooked bankers on Wall Street responsible for an economic collapse ruining millions of lives aren't even charged.

That would be telling.
Have been going there for years. Recently renovated Rosie's Restaurant, nice job. Can be busy sometimes. Some menu items are very good, others are nothing special. I enjoy the Quesa dias. Prices have increased, they are still fair but I don't think they would be if they go much higher.

Great food and a friendly service. A trendy almost urban atmosphere in a small town, very refreshing. Menu is very interesting, something you'd expect in downtown Halifax. Prices are reasonable for what you are getting. I'd recommend the soups there.

I have never been disappointed by this restaurant. Compared to other Dairy Queens, the food quality is superior. Its a family run business.

The buffet menu never changes, and the food is somewhat bland. I refuse to eat at this restaurant now as they have a portrait of Chairman Mao behind the counter. Mao was a mass murderer, responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of his people. If you are a communist and worship this tyrant, then don't put the portrait in a public place. Put it in your living room. Imagine a picture of Hitler in a German restaurant. Well, this is the same thing to me.

Can't understand how this place qualifies to be called Best Western. Absolutely nothing like any other Best Western I've stayed at. Its an old old motel with small outdated rooms and tiny bathrooms, and no facilities. Something from the 1960s. They used to have great food in their dining room, but they don't offer lunch everyday now and someone told me they lost their cook. This place survives as it is the only motel in the Kingston/Greenwood community. The nearby military base assures its survival. The local area is economically backward and nobody seems interested in building a modern hotel, which is desperately needed.
