Q: Which side of the horse has the most hair?
A: The outside!

I just realized that if we are to be friends I should introduce myself properly.
My name is Sassy. Notice I didn't say I was sassy. At 36 years old I am an old girl that moves a little slower these days. Still a little twinkle in my eye, but I've gotten out of most work besides rides for little children on a rare occasion. In truth, I think I am kept around for my good demeanor more than anything else.

Also I do enjoy company. My black and white comrade is Dani. She is the yin to my yang. Only in her teens, she has a little extra pep in her step. High spirited and unruly. Her favorite hobby is competitive grass eating. You should see her eat!

If looking for excuses to come visit we sure love to be fed and this can be a great pastime. (Relaxing too... if I do say so myself!) Also my brown silky coat loves a good brush. We are free anytime. Just call. Our owners, the Vogts can help arrange the fun. (ph: 423-262-7995)

Pen Pals are also desired. This week I will begin my storytelling and would love to hear from you too. Feel free to write. (storybrookfarm@gmail.com)

What do you call a horse that lives next door?
A neigh-bor!

Well, now as your new "neighbor" online I have a proposition for you. Over my years I have moved, changed owners, and come to make a nice life for myself at Storybrook Farm B&B. I have been very loved by the Vogts, made many friends, and have started to collect stories about unusual animal adventures and talents. I am getting older and really want to make sure I don't forget any of these extraordinary tales so I am going to add a few here and there over the next year to cement my thoughts.    If you would like to enjoy a few laughs and help an old horse please come visit from time to time to hear a story or two.
