I chose this clinic through my Insurance because they were close to my home. I have not been happy since I started going there. Every single time I make an appointment, and see my doctor, I get the SAME response. If I go in for a neck issue I've had for 6 years that causes headaches I get told, you should stop smoking, and you will need to see a different doctor. I went in for a knee injury, I should stop smoking and see a different doctor, I went in for back issues, I should stop smoking and I need to see a different doctor. I have been there 5 times and they have done nothing to help me at all. Seems like the only thing the doctors there are good at is telling me to stop smoking and to go somewhere else, which has never been possible because they never send out the referrals to the doctors I need to see. The last time I went in, the nurse measured my height, and I have shrunk an inch an a half in the last year, when I told my doctor that and that I have constant back pain which concerns me that I have shrunk, she said "Those scales are not accurate". WTH?? not accurate, then why are you using them? and after getting home we measured my height here and the nurse was correct, I HAVE shrunk. Wouldn't you think that would be cause for concern and should have been looked at by my doctor? NOPE, I need to stop smoking and see someone else.. What a waste of time and money!

The Brooklyn Park, MN office is busy which means they are good enough for people to come back. Dr. Jonathan Bates is my doctor and I could not be happier with him. He has a vast knowledge of nearly every aspect of my illness/disability makes me feel like I'm in good hands. Moreover, Dr. Bates has a rare tallest of being able to explain a procedure, treatment or some other medical procedure with words I can understand. Then, makes sure I thoroughly understand what he is going to do before he does it. His patient oriented approach to care makes me feel just a little more secure and confident that things are going to get better. His knowledgeable staff communicates my requests efficiently. They have a website where I can see results of any of me; blood tests, cultures, it will provide directions, I can set-up appointments or even directly eMail a nurse. The office has -cutting edge technology. Thank you doctor Bates!

The Fairview Clinic in Brooklyn Park. Tsk, tsk, Just watch out for thier nurses because from my experiences they are less then competent. Unfortunately due to my family insurance we are only privy to the Fairview clinics. My son had a fever and was dehydrated, so we went to this location for urgent care. We were unfortunate to have the most incompetent nurse. She never sent us through to the doctor and checked my son herself and said that we needed to take him to the hospital so that they put the iv line in him. We unwittingly believed her and went to the emergency room at the hospital only to find out that he didnt need an iv line. It was a total waste of time and money due to this particular nurse. We did not come to see her and seek out her medical advice. We came to see the doctor!
