In anticipation of Yosemite, I'm planning on making a clean install on my Mac mini, which acts as an iTunes and Plex server, as well as the master photo library. This Mac is currently full of junk! Old apps, files, documents, etc. The media all lives on a FireWire connected Drobo, and the iPhoto library is all internal. My intent is to perform the clean install, and then restore just the iTunes and Plex libraries, as well as the iPhoto library, and then re-install CrashPlan for my cloud based backup solution. I clone the internal HD of the mini on a regular basis, as well as back up to Time Machine.
What do you all think would be the best way to accomplish all of this? I really want to minimize the kruft.
