This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I just went back there after a few months and the food is better than ever. I am in love with the grilled octopus. Actually anything from the appetizer al a carte menu is great.

Food is too sofisticated and not authentic. Service is so so and it is overpriced...

What a nice comfortable eatery, that has great service, nice outdoor seating and delicious food. I started off with the arancini which were okay but the entree - lamb chops, was amazing! The contrasting flavors on the plate were exciting. Eolo has a nice rustic quality about it and the servers are generally interested in making sure you have a good experience.

Easily one of the most unique Italian restaurants I've ever been too. -Seasonally (winter), I would definitely recommend the Apple Cider or anything for that matter. -The food is nothing short of amazing. Unique dishes from Sicily. Get the three appetizer combo with the strawberry marmalade and bruschetta. -The manager, Chris, asked us how our service was & thanked us. 10/10, will be back. Highly recommend.

We were a party of 9 people. We ordered different appetizers to share and then each one of us took a main dish. The appetizers were amazing, all fresh and more special than many other Italian restaurants. To be honest my favorite was Grandma rice balls, i still have the taste in my mouth!! As for the main dishes, i took red tuna, it was cooked just as it needed to be, well seasoned and fresh. My friends took different types of pastas some with meat ragu, others with vegetables and Sardins. They were happy with what they took. At the end we shared several desserts, i remember the Tiramisu and the fried Sicilian donuts with orange peel and chocolate were amazing. The wine was very special, the waiter recommended us a wine that was full of taste and inexpensive. We ended up taking four bottles!!! I liked the ambiance and the interiors, gives a nice contemporary yet original feel. The staff were polite and nice. To conclude, we had a great experience there and i highly recommend the place. Excellent food and amazing ingredients!!

This place was CRAZY when I visited here in July. We got the inside of the restaurant on Street View for Restaurant week and I shot the place at night. The bartender was pretty all over the place - but retreated to the back kitchen quite a bit. I felt a little abandoned at times. After the shoot, I had a few drinks and the salmon which was absolutely delicious. The vibe at Bar Eolo is really frantic. If you're looking to have a quiet drink this may not be the place.
