It has also shown an ability to become massively airborne with Reston. Also according to Baxter the Black Death may in fact have been Ebola. Consider the 90% death rate...

WHO is also claiming that 70 cases of "hemorrhagic enteritis" are not Ebola. Possibly not, the CFR is pretty low. Also btw the "not airborne" line was largely based on the spread rate estimate which was based on the number of cases. Unfortunately the case numbers were "massively underestimated" so you can guess what that means. In some way it's much more contagious than thought and since the R factor approaches 6 it appears E is nearly as contagious as smallpox.

Apparently the DRC case number is 8.  Also the WHO and CDC are backing away from the "Not airborne" line.

The fact that the rate of new infections is increasing doesn't in itself mean mutation, for that the [rate of the rate] of increase would need to be increasing. Simple rate of increase is expected from the increasing number of cases. Other than that I think you have pretty good analysis.

Another point is that airborne transmission if any [and more and more are coming out saying there may be some] does appear to be somewhat minimal and those cases are vanishing under the non-airborne contagiousness, eg. cases that are from airborne are also plausibly deniable as non-airborne because they have to deal with emesis basins etc. would I be a doctor in an Ebola ward? Not in less than a bluesuit.

I have to agree with the other posters, the lady who runs this store is an astounding bitch. I wish I could say it was the worst customer service I've ever received but I have received worse-- I didn't actually get kicked out of the store but I got bitched out for looking around too long. Sorry lady, I was just trying to pay you money. I gave the place a 2 because there are more important things than customer service. The place is huge and has an interesting selection of items but I will go elsewhere next time. To the people who are so terribly offended by the counter lady, I agree that she is totally over the top but you never know what's going on in someone's personal life, if she's that crabby so consistently there's some reason for it and whatever that might be I wouldn't want to walk a mile in her shoes, I don't think. Her combat boots fit me just fine though.
