The King County regulation requires that all firing ranges and gun stores post signs notifying buyers and shooters that owning a gun could increase the risk of death by suicide, in domestic violence and by children accidentally gaining access to them.

The Bothell project proposes a safer connected pedestrian and bike route from Bothell High School to Bothell Way Northeast via Northeast 188th Street, including 1,500 linear feet of sidewalks, 4,600 linear feet of bike lanes and seven curb ramps.

The AFIS program serves all 39 cities and unincorporated areas in King County. AFIS technicians respond to crime scenes and process evidence using chemicals, photography and other means to find fingerprints and palm prints left at crime scenes. Law enforcement throughout the region can access this information from a central database.
