How to survive two under two (when you are not a princess)

+Keith Kendrick

So Kate Middleton is expecting her second baby this week. This is great news for the media because I expect there are only so many times they can run 'stories' like 'ROYAL BABY TO HAVE A NAME' or 'PRINCESS WILL GIVE BIRTH TO A BABY, SAY BOOKIES'.

And of course great news for Kate, who will have a lovely newborn baby to look after.

As well as a young toddler.

Dear Royal Baby...from just a normal baby

+Keith Kendrick

Dear Royal Baby,

I understand from something called the 'In-ter-net' that you've begun your descent. You're on your way. You're totally 'head down, elbows out, and ready to dance out of that uterus party.

And it's possible that your birth may be almost as publicised as mine. So from one pretty important little dude to another, let me impart some wise words for your arrival.

Judges grant mother's dying wish for her daughter to be brought up by friends, not dad

+Keith Kendrick

A mother's dying wish that her five-year-old daughter should be brought up by friends rather than her dad has been granted by judges.

The 48-year-old mum, from Cornwall, died from breast cancer earlier this month, but her final wish was that her little girl would be brought up by a married couple who had looked after them in her last days.

Royal baby 'four days late' and could be induced

+Keith Kendrick

The Royal baby is already up to four days late and the Duchess of Cambridge may have to be induced this week, apparently.

The 33-year-old royal's baby is expected before the end of April and it's been claimed that Kate's due date could have been as early as last Wednesday (April 22).

Now the Telegraph reports that Kate and Prince William may have already spoken to doctors at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, about the possibility of inducing labour.

+Keith Kendrick

Facebook photos of two teenage cancer sufferers with bald heads were reported for 'nudity'.

Jessica Versey and Tiffany Williams, both 19, became close friends after meeting following their cancer diagnoses and were delighted when they went into remission around the same time.

Dad has portrait of his baby son tattooed onto his face

+Keith Kendrick

A young dad has paid tribute to the baby son he almost lost by having his portrait tattooed onto his face.
Christien Sechrist, 20, from Houston, Texas, decided to have the dramatic portrait etched onto his own face as a very public expression of his love for baby Perseus.

The trainee electrician – who is an avid body art enthusiast - shared a photo on his Facebook page showing off the new inking of Perseus adorning the side of his cheek.

Yuck! Bouncing baby pukes into big bruv's open mouth (video)

+Keith Kendrick

Experienced parents have learned the hard way that there's one thing you should never do with a baby after it's had its feed – and that's jiggle it in the air.

Unfortunately, that valuable life lesson was learned in a VERY messy – and rather disgusting – way by this big brother as he played with his baby sibling.

In a YouTube video that's been viewed more than 140,000 times, what at first looks like a picture of familial bliss turns into a scene worthy of The Exorcist.

Mum locks daughters in alarmed bedroom at night 'to protect them from paedophile husband'

+Keith Kendrick

A mother locks her two young daughters inside an alarmed room every night to protect them from her paedophile husband – with the blessing of social workers, police and probation officers.

The 'safety plan' has been approved in Devon. Officials are said to be reassured that the woman's husband, once jailed for attacking a child under 13, would have to climb over her in bed and wake her up to get to the girls.

Bookies are set to lose around £500,000 if the Royal baby is a girl and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge name her Alice.

Arrangements are now in place at St. Mary's Hospital in London for Kate to give birth, possibly next week, and the public have caught baby betting fever in the hope of cashing in on the happy event.
