Just printed a few t-shirts up for #disorder #disorderboutique, in this amazing copper ink. A bit time consuming to print up, as the ink contains real flecks of copper. The effect is well worth it as they look truly stunning when they are on. #antifashion  #antibrand #beard #birmingham   #Indifashion   #boutiqueshopping

Protect yourself from the Evil Eye; Disorder drew inspiration for this seasons T-shirt collection from Sixties Pschedia The Ancient Kingdom of Bagan, and The Hamsa, ‘Evil Eyes’, a palm shaped symbol, probably familiar to us all, but without knowing the full story behind it.
The Photo shoot was a spontaneous, inspiring collaboration, between Clothing Designers Disorder, Model, Aiden Tielli, and Photographer Paul Ward. #birmingham

From Sketch to Print; The Crane, Symbol of Happiness, Fertility and Long Life.
I first got the idea for a drawing, The Circle of Life, from a chance meeting with a Sarus Crane, in the Delta region of Myanmar, during a ten hour drive from Yangon to the coast. The worlds tallest bird, standing as high as a human, it was a truly mystical awe-inspiring experience. At this meeting, I instinctively understood why the bird is so revered throughout much of the sub continent and the far east. The crane is a symbol of happiness and eternal youth. In Japan, the crane is one of the mystical or holy creatures (others include the dragon and the tortoise) and symbolizes good fortune and longevity because of its fabled life span of a thousand years. Over a few months the drawing developed organically, becoming a painstaking process, a therapeutic mantra. I knew it was essential to get the balance right, between the energetic movement of the birds, and instill a zen-like, contemplation in the drawing. I thoroughly enjoyed drawing this picture.
