The Kitchen team led by Peter Howarth taking delivery of premium A5 quality Wagyu beef, imported by Zen-Noh Wagyu. Straight into menu development using the new Japanese barbeque fired by special white charcoal. It is indescribably delicious, we cannot wait. Watch our menus for this new arrival.

As its a brilliantly sunny day we thought we'd share this video, which reveals the Lake District in all its spectacular beauty! Windermere features nearly 7 minutes in - and we can just make out the glimmer of The Samling from its fellside perch up above the lake. All of these locations can be reached by a scenic drive from The Samling - each exploring a different aspect of the varied Lake District landscapes. Sharing images from our V10 Vegetarian menu - it has to be one of the best anywhere. The love and creativity that goes into this is unstinting, as with all our other menus. Showing the cheese dish, Colston Basset, Lancashire bomb, celery, grape, lovage, truffle honey, crisp cheese scone; and a dessert - Wasabi, white chocolate aero, salted cashew, meringue, ginger cake, beurre noisette, (paired with Sake Awaski Sparkling, Japan).
