And I guess I'll throw this up here too, since Wordpress doesn't auto-share to G+ yet. tl;dr version: the lockout is LeBron's fault.

Re-posting over here...it's a ghost town, compared to FB, but you never know who's trolling through and needs a swift kick to the head.

Okay, since some of you really don't seem to get it (even some of my supposedly intelligent, liberal and/or progressive friends):

Yes, it is wrong and irresponsible to, for example, run up a credit card debt and then expect someone else to come along and take care of it.

But it is evil and criminal to intentionally defraud millions of people out of hundreds of billions of dollars, then demand the government to give them trillions of dollars--out of the taxes paid by those who were defrauded, not the defrauders, who take advantage of loopholes and credits to pay none--to save their companies and their elevated livelihoods, paying for it by slashing the programs that help the very people who were defrauded in the first place, while further reducing taxes and regulations on the criminals who started the whole thing, enabling even further fraud with less risk of any meaningful consequences, then raise holy hell when it's even suggested that they should reduce their ongoing blood-stained profits by even a small fraction.

The first is irresponsible. The second is evil and criminal. The second is what large corporations, banks and Wall Street have done over the last 5-10 years. And you don't have to be perfectly virtuous, paying your bills each month and setting aside a little in your savings account, to call it out as wrong and demand that they not be allowed to do it anymore.
