Excellent service, nicely appointed rooms. Location is convenient, but nearby road construction makes getting around a pain (just to be clear, I can't fault the hotel for the construction which is out of their control).

I attended an annual banquet here. The food was very good, and the service was also good. The facilities are very nice, and the table placements were lovely. No complaints.

Let me start of by saying the staff at this hotel are amazing! Specifically Jennifer at the front desk and the security guard Brian. They really work hard to meet your ever need. The rooms are spacious and clean but need updating badly! The decor is totally dated. The first room we stayed in had a bullet hole in the window! The whole window should've been replaced. The bullet hole looked to come from the freeway or feeder road, which is only common in a big city. I don't blame the hotel for this, I only blame them for not properly fixing it. The area this hotel is in is seedy and I'm sure the gun shot came from someone on 290. This hotel is very secure due to the tight security, so I don't think safety is a problem. The security guard drives around constantly all night. Things like this happen in a big city, but they should've replaced the window! Upon telling the staff we were moved to a room right across the hall. I gave this hotel 4 stars due to the amazing staff, otherwise I would've given it 3 stars. We only paid $60 on Priceline so the hotel was worth it. If I would've paid the full rate I probably would've expected more. The most important things to me about a hotel are that the rooms are clean, the service is good and my car is safe. All of those criteria were met with this hotel. I included picture of the dated rooms and the bullet hole in our window.

Very friendly desk staff. Rooms clean and neat although a bit old . Nice toiletries provided. Reasonably priced room service menu. Location is far from most activities unfortunately.

The room and look of the hotel was great. There were a few issues when it came to services as advertised and the water temperature. There wasn't much hot to the water when taking a shower. On the website, the bar is listed as open until 1am. When arriving at 11, we were told that it was closed but we could uber across the highway to one of the resturants over there.

I stayed here in January on a weekend night. First, beware that heavy construction is ongoing along 290 and most of the feeder roads, as well as surrounding roads. There are several detours. So, if you're from out of town take your time planning your approach. This construction will likely continue for many years. This Crowne Plaza is showing its age quite a bit. It's been refreshed here and there, but the age shows. Peeling wallpaper, carpet stains, chips and cracks in the showers definitely take the shine off the crown. This accounts for the lower rates when compared to nearby hotels. I found the staff to be friendly and attentive, which can go a long way in making up for the deteriorating decor. I was offered free breakfast as a Platinum IHG benefit, and it seems to be the standard amenity offered to many guests, judging by the amount of people turning in the chits at breakfast. Breakfast itself was hot and plentiful, but very lackluster, sub-McDonalds quality. There are several other fast-food and sit-down restaurants in the area. In short, if you're looking for an inexpensive, comfortable stay, especially with kids or groups, this CP might fit the bill. But, if you're looking for luxury or quality, you won't get it at this price.

The hotel, in its day, was a showplace like many other Crown Plazas. I hate to see them outdated. It used to be my goto brand for hotels while traveling. This one has aged significantly throughout the entire hotel while other hotels in the vicinity are new or updated. The area is sketchy and the accommodation are questionable. It's close to work and the rates are much lower, so I guess you get what you pay for.
