Strange
YouTube user pseudon name shares a video he stumbled upon at Facebook. Two bros in Utah discovered a strange ice formation upon a frozen lake, recording it for posterity. The formation appears to be at least six feet / 182cm in width, and riddled with regularly-spaced holes arranged like a ...

Eat, Read, Sleep Two out of three ain't bad, right? Check it. We made all the lovers of the English language cringe by using the word "ain't" in the first sentence. Maybe we should avoid alienating our potential customers? Let's start again. Hello, fellow book-loving humans! We have here a lovely set of pillows that let you honor your bookish tendencies in your home decor. These Olde Book Pillow Classics look great in your reading nook, plus ...

Place was quiet, no music on. Ordered the bacon/egg burger. It was dry. The burger was devoid of juice and the fried egg was served without a runny yolk. The bacon was tasty and crisp. The bun was to big for the burger and it wasn't griddled which made it also dry. A bit difficult to eat.

Where do I start, oh yes, at the beginning.. My parents, who are in their 70s, and I went there for some dinner (Oct 8th, 2015) and we arrived at 550pm for our 6pm reservation. Little did we know that we would be leaving ten minutes later. My mother ordered a glass of Cabernet, my father a beer, and I was going to have the bartenders choice cocktail. Our server, who had to be let known that she had a table, came over to take our drink order and when we obliged, she then asked to see our id's. Like my parents id's, who are old.. My parents didnt bring their id's because they didnt drive, I did. Pop brought his credit card and thats all that was brought by them. The server said that it was the law that all patrons who order adult beverages must present a valid id.. That is patently wrong and subject to a discrimination lawsuit. My father, who is a professor of Hospitality Management at two colleges in Tucson, which includes alcohol law, expressed in no uncertain terms that their interpretation of the law is wrong. He asked for the manager on duty and the GM came to the table. She said that she just went through an alcohol beverage serving course and that it is against the law to serve without an id and that she didnt believe a professor. Its my belief that they just got busted for underage serving and thats the reason why the blanket decision to apply a policy that is discriminatory in nature and open to lawsuits. If you want to enjoy a great meal, walk across the street to Cafe Poca Cosa as we were gladly handed a glass of wine, a beer, and a cocktail without showing our id's. If it was a state law, as so wrongfully stated by the server and the General Manager, why were we not subject to it 10 feet away on the other side of the street. Its obvious that the restaurant owner/s has directed an ill fated attempt to keep their nose out of the liquor board trouble that their own employees are trying to implement. I would stay away from here as much as possible as the staff and owner/s have absolutely no idea what they are doing and if you are a senior citizen prepare to be discriminated..

I went there with my date for my birthday dinner. What a disaster... We sat on the patio, the accommodations were very nice, as were the server, busser, and back waiter. We got the menus, including the wine menu which looked liked it was typed on a dot matrix printer. The pages were torn off the rings in the binder and any 4th grade student could do a better job putting it together. We ordered a NY Strip, bone in, medium rare. It came out rare as can be. We sent it back and and all they did was char the outside, not bringing it to my requested temp. I had to track down the floor manager and express my utter disappointment that I can't get a steak cooked properly and they are known for being a steak house. Well, the third times the charm with our dinner and it came out correct. They attempted to bring some normalcy to our dinner by donating two glasses of champagne. That was a nice touch. The floor manager who brought our wine was so not skilled in wine service, that it was almost embarrassing. When we got our steak for the first time, it was brought to the wrong table. For the price, you can get much better service and steaks at other places in Las Vegas. We won't be coming back here again.

We went to Fremont Street for something completely different and we ended up here for dinner. What a great place.. Angie and Arturo are an asset to the floor as they are great servers. They were attentive without being obtrusive. The manager came by twice to make sure that our dinner service was going well, and that was a nice touch. The food was spot on. We had the seared mozzarella for an appetizer and a wood fired pizza for our dinner and complemented that with a half bottle of chianti. Our dinner pace was just perfect, the attention given to us was outstanding. If you are looking for a great meal and great service, but at half the price of a strip hotel, I would go here every time.

I worked with Jaime today, and he took care of all my needs. I let him know of the make/model that I saw on the lot, told him my budget and he said that its something that he could work with. I got there, and the car that I wanted was just put through a wash and placed up front. Nice touch.. The paperwork was super simple, the longest part of the days purchase was waiting for the finance guy to see me as there were so many sales on the lot. I would highly recommend them based on their service and professionalism. Not being pushy on the phone, letting me direct the conversation and the willingness to get it done the first time.
