Basic but tasty pub food. Better atmosphere than anywhere on the Holloway Road. Good for a quiet chat, especially if you can get a seat next to the fire.

One of the top local pubs in Holloway. Superior selection of drinks and food.

This pub would be amazing but unfortunately the majority of the staff let it down. Rude, unhelpful, headless chickens. I used to go in quite a bit for drinks as its local to my house but I wont be visiting again after the last couple of times. I have never experienced anything like it to be honest, shockingly bad service. Its such a shame really cause it could be a fantastic place with a great selection of drinks and a good menu, still there are places in the area that offer a much better experience all round so I would steer clear.

Top pub, great food, decent selection of ales. No young children allowed, which will be either a good or bad thing depending on whether you've got young children. Decor and interior of the pub done tastefully. I only wish it was slightly bigger - gets full on nice evenings and after Arsenal matches.

Just off Holloway Road, this pub has all the makings of a great local: friendly bar staff, ale on draught, and so many board games! And if you're not in the mood to booze, they have some more exciting soft drinks than just your standard Diet Coke or Orange Juice options. (Such as a delish rose lemonade, yum!) This place is small, but it's never been crowded when I've visited - just perfectly cosy. Highly recommended.

Who would have thought this small but charming pub would be hiding just off Holloway Road? With an open kitchen, decent board game collection and good variety of soft drinks (including my favourite Fentiman's lemonade) it's easy to spend all evening here. The food menu did seem a tad expensive, but I haven't tried it - it could be amazing.
