The Model 16 was certainly worthy of a long service medal. A trusted steed that left the AMC works in 1945 and would continue in various incarnations for two decades; post war Britain needed affordable, reliable and rugged transport that would perform on very low octane fuel...

Due to overwhelming demand we’ve waited 7 years to review a pair of the Knox Handroid gloves, and for good reason….the gloves look different, futuristic and different from every other pair of motorcycle gloves on the market, and as a result, they have been flying off the shelves since 2009...

It started within minutes of my arrival; two great pals and total enthusiasts Richard Earle, Triumph Trident owner and John Sherratt aboard his Norton Commando, compared their steeds. ‘I don’t need mirrors, John explained, ‘not really bothered what Triumph is behind me’, Richard smiled and replied, ‘I only have them to see when the Norton breaks down!’ I realised immediately I was about to enjoy a great day and so it proved to be. Over a few hours we covered vast areas of Hampshire as both classics showed impressive pace, we compared handling and reliability then argued about which looked the best.

Small and compact magnetic tank bag from Spada for carrying the essentials on short trips. Secured by four small magnets, two on the base of the bag and two on the flaps, plus a strap to put round the headstock for additional security. Rigid inserts ensure the bag does not lose its shape. Two external and one internal pockets give you plenty of storage for small items such as change, wallet etc. Great design, looks the part and good value, comes highly recommended by us. 5 stars…

In the mid 80s, biking hadn’t quite decided what worked best and the end result was a host of gimmicks, acronyms, initialisms and other such foibles. This Dresda Yamaha plays host to one of the worst ideas to date, the turbo...
