"A few years ago I contacted you because I was convinced my daughter, Siobhan, needed to food challenge to peanut and tree nut. That she might not be allergic. We spoke on the phone and you gave me the courage to keep pushing. I am happy to report that after 3 years of requests her doctor agreed. First to peanut, then cashew. She is now just shy of her 11th birthday and will be going to Girl Scout camp allergy free this summer. I am so happy for her but also know the stories I've read her from your book have helped shape her attitude about handling adversity, not just managing food allergies. Thank you for being a force of good."
