We spend our lives in full speed chasing material things, only to realise when its too late that it was all a waste of our lives. Slow down and enjoy the moments as they pass by.

Flying Fish is New Jersey's largest brewery (that swill they make near the airport in Newark doesn't count). It's also the best. They have long had great beers and great people. With the new brewery in Somerdale, and a tweak to New Jersey's arcane liquor laws, Flying Fish has a great tasting room now, too! Head by there, learn how they make their tasty beers, try a couple, and take some home. Flying Fish has a very strong stable of year-round beers, all with a fresh taste and judicious use of ingredients. Their seasonals, and especially the Exit Series, are also terrific.

Stayed in September 2012, at a rate of about $160/night. This hotel is in desperate need of updating and/or demolition. It looks good from the outside, but the interior and especially the guest rooms are ancient. The size of the room was decent, and The staff was fairly friendly, though housekeeping was not superb. The room was generally clean, but details here and there indicate that housekeeping really speeds through the rooms, and doesn't do a thorough job. Overall, there are much better hotels available at a comparable price during most weeks in Chicago. Can't recommend this hotel at all.

Eleven has truly great food, and very good variety within the menu. The place is not overly stuffy, but not overly hip either. The service is very good and attentive, but not overbearing. I've been to Eleven twice, and have had a great experience both times.

I started with a simple meal -- a salad. I was happy with it, though. Keeping in mind what a salad costs in Center City, and what you typically get, HipCityVeg did well. I'm looking forward to trying more of their dishes. The service is fast and easy, no great frills, but certainly nice enough. Their plastics and utensils are plant-based (like the rest of the menu!) and compostable, too, which is important to me.

Casona has excellent Cuban food, with a somewhat modern flair. Very good on our first try tonight. The service was very good as well, among the best I've had recently. Not pretentious, not too casual, just right. Helpful and approachable. I'd very much recommend Casona.

PPI did a terrible job of inspecting our home. They missed major termite damage, and did not mention obvious signs of serious flooding and water issues. Their inspectors are not conscientious, and were not helpful at all in trying to resolve these problems after the fact. Get another company to do your home inspection.
