Looking for a really good quality ear-bud that will stand up to hillwalking in all weathers, any recommendations welcome, but seen this:

Used to have this pinned to a cork board next to my desk, when I first started programming, many year ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth ...

20. That's weird....
19. It's never done that before.
18. It worked yesterday.
17. How is that possible?
16. It must be a hardware problem.
15. What did you type in wrong to get it to crash?
14. There is something funky in your data. OR It's a data problem, not a program problem.
13. I haven't touched that module in weeks!
12. You must have the wrong version.
11. It's just some unlucky coincidence.
10. I can't test everything!
9. THIS can't be the source of THAT.
8. It works, but it hasn't been tested.
7. Somebody must have changed my code.
6. Did you check for a virus on your system?
5. Even though it doesn't work, how does it feel?
4. You can't use that version on your system.
3. Why do you want to do it that way?
2. Where were you when the program blew up?

And the Number One Thing Programmers Say When Their Programs Don't Work:

1. "It works on my machine..".

Our security tier that protects our clients on-line database applications and websites has prevented in excess of 64,000 attempts to hack systems and blocked more than 246,000 Internet Protocol (IP) addresses after suspicious activity. In a recent penetration test, the ethical hackers / penetration team had to ask for the security tier to be disabled after their IP address was blocked almost immediately.

Spent a few days walking on Dartmoor the other week in search of some space; weather throw it's worst at me, but did over 50 miles walking and managed to find Fur Tor in the mist and rain aided by a compass and little else.

We've just completed the design and development of our new  Responsive Website Design (RWD) for www.ayrmer.co.uk that will be launched on the 1st December.

We're really chuffed with the design and the content management system which uses our latest framework (Golem 2.7) with a hole host of new additions including an updated security class that protects all our projects, blocking hackers form accessing your data.

Here's a sneak preview ...

The Dumb Post has recently been taken over by Steve and Caroline, who have given the pub some much needed TLC that is starting to pay dividends. The food and beer is excellent and somehow they seem to have found the balance between pub and gasto pub. I would suggest Wes Martin revisits the pub as I am sure Steve would be delighted to have live music there.
