Dim sum, ramen & other Asian plates in a charming cafe with grocery-lined shelves & outdoor seats.- Google
"Gyoza, pork chop, and the spicy miso ramen are particular must-try's."
"But mainly guys, let's go the extra mile with ramen noodles."

It's been a couple weeks since i went so my memory is hazy, but i don't remember hating it, so i guess that's a good thing. I had the Vegetarian Roll, which was good, but nothing to write home to ur mom about. We also had the green dumplings, which i have no recollection of. I do remember the bathroom having a locking door so if you gotta take a poop, you're good to go. It's clean and nicely decorated. We're not talkin 5 star here, but hey, it's good enough when you really gotta go. Although the waiter left something to be desired....and that would be some service. He would disappear for long spans of time. ok i don't feel like writing anymore thanks bye! ryan

I came here during the day and no one acknowledged me at all. I sat myself down after grabbing a paper menu and when no one came to help me I got in line behind one other person and the guy helping her out was taking his time, not even making eye contact with me. After more time passed I just did an about-face and went somewhere that needed business. I would have understood if they were busy but they clearly weren't even close to that. Perhaps I'm not the L.A. type and don't look or dress the part, but I wasn't there for a fashion show. I was there simply because I was hungry. Thumbs way down.

Food was really delicious. Service was slow and rude.

By far, one of the best places on Melrose. My girlfriend and I are pretty much addicted to it. Gyoza, pork chop, and the spicy miso ramen are particular must-try's. Sit outside in the back!

Three times now, and it's always been a hit. They have handled us in two larges groups and one party of two. The food is very good, friendly service, and priced well. The ramens are good, as is the dim sum, and the hot and sour soup. The beef roll is good, but nothing special. One issue: We had a group of 9, and they completely forgot 1 person's meal. We had finished eating and were ready to pay by the time they brought his meal. And to top it off, they made a mistake in his order. However, mistakes happen and they didn't charge him.

Mehhhh I had the black ramen. It wasn't very "black and creamy" as described, just brothy with some black specs. Unimpressed with the dried mushrooms slivers. Bland and textureless. But mainly guys, let's go the extra mile with ramen noodles. These just seemed like the instant kind and it made me sad. Also I thought the serving size was pretty meager compared to the norm around here.

I like food here. This is the best place to get dim sum in the area when you don't wanna go all the way to SGV. Shumai, shrimp dumplings, everything was very good but I really REALLY loved pan fried pork buns. Each bun was big, crispy outside, lots of filling inside and flavorful.

Easily my favorite place in Los Angeles. As a transplant from NYC I was desperate for good dim sum and thank god I found Ping Tung. Green bean and soy chicken salad is worth the long drive from Santa Monica alone.
