Terrible Business! Absolutely horrible! We had a Groupon to use, and I called them on THURSDAY! Spoke with the owner who apparently forwards the the phone to her cell phone, she ASSURED me that I could use the groupon, in addition she said the website had the times wrong, and that it was not from 6-10 as I had mentioned but from 7-11!!! Once again I asked her just to make sure that I could in fact use them... She said yes!!! When I got there on Saturday they said NO Groupons?! I explained that I had already called ahead of time and the girl behind the desk was like "YAYA so did that guy "supposedly" He called and booked with the owner, now he has 16 kids dropped off for the GROUPON bday party and he is paying full price... If you wanna pay full price too is $15 a kid" Did they just say yes so we would come all the way here and pay full price?! Whatever the reason is we called ahead to avoid this! There were 4-5 groups of us that were meeting there and using Groupons for our kids, and we were TOLD we could use them! Honestly I would have paid full price if they hadn't been so rude and ugly!!! Especially since we went next door to the bowling ally and paid $17 a person to bowl!

Terrible, terrible customer service. They are very rude. Had bday party there and there was an older lady who had no clue what good customer service means. Will never go there again.

Today is 6/25/2013, I always review thru the Internet before I go to a business/entertainment for prices and time of events. On the website of Carvel Skateland South it displayed time and price of Tuesday's event. On there it stated, 1:00-10:00 at five dollars ($5.00) per person whether you skate or not. I spoke to Robin, who is the owner of Carvel Skateland. I explained to her that on her website it stated $5.00 per person from 1:00-10:00. She said that it was "$6.00 per person because they had a sign in the building at $6.00". I asked why was it displayed at $5.00 on her website and she said "I don't know". I didn't want to ruin the fun for the kids so we paid the $6.00. Its amazing how this business is running. They don't know what is on there website and she should be ashamed of herself not honoring her website price. Its her job to get things straight and not commit a crime of fraud-misleading the public. Reviewing what others had experience. There was more disatisfied people with prices and experience with the quality of the facility and staff. No wonder why they weren't busy today. I would advice Robin to review her business in a professional manner and not mislead the public.

I'm a new skater. This place does not have strict rules enforced. Apparently, they have older kids (seems like they are in middle to high school age kids) who have summer pass and they seem to be there all day during the week. They dominated the floor. They will breeze past you, take their skates off in the middle of the rink, lie down on the path, etc....it was just out of control. I felt like I was in a day care with skates on. It was a horrible experience. They played a game of wolf and sheep which is like a tag game --- that was awful!!!! Again, only those same kids played it since you need to be an expert to play that. So, if you are an expert - go ahead and hustle with these kids. However, if you are new to skating OR if you have little ones -- you might be better off going to Rollercade which is only a few minutes drive (exit West Basse). I highly recommend Rollercade for those newbies since they DO have stricter rules.

Only went because I bought the Groupon and I hadn't been skating in years. The owner/lady with the black Cadillac and the I♥SK8N license plate parked directly in front of the doors is a rude b**** and surely doesn't love skating. The pizza was old and reheated, the pitcher of soda was flat and it was Hill Country Fare not even from a fountain or a name brand. When I got there at 1:59pm she said we don't open until 2 then sat there until 2:06 then said "may I help you?"
