This is amazing news. Enter the Ninja and Return of the Ninja!! #ninja
Kino Lorber Studio Classics just won 2015. They have officially announced ENTER THE NINJA (1981) & REVENGE OF THE NINJA (1983) as part of their May line-up. Sure, these aren't Horror titles, but it will be fantastic to own these on Blu-ray next to NINJA III: THE DOMINATION.

Not my favorite SBux location. 1) the location stinks as in not easy to access or find parking. Usually I'm parked around the corner near Panera. Not good if you like to keep an eye on your car. 2) service can be good to lousy. It's a mixed bag and I never know what to expect. The lack of consistency keeps me from being a regular customer. Everything else is fine but it is a little cramped if you plan to do some work at this spot.

Very nice place for crafting supplies. Not just a fabric store but more like a Michael's or Hobby Lobby with aisles and aisles of home craft gear and materials. Of course they still have loads of fabric and often on sale. If you can't find what you're looking for, ask for assistance because they likely have it somewhere (fabric section could be a little better organized). This is a great option for your craft needs and highly recommended.

This location used to have a bigger footprint now it's tucked away into a small corner entrance adjacent to the Old Navy (directly across from Wendy's). Not surprised about the downsize and smaller storefront but you wouldn't know it's there if you're entering Five Flags Plaza from the south. Overall this is an adequate store and convenient from Golf Rd to access. I primarily use for copy and fax service. Nothing terribly special at this location but does the job when needed.

Fast and delicious! Naf Naf has been expanding around Chicago after the rave remarks from the Hungry Hound. And I'm very glad because now there are two locations (soon to be 3) near me. This spot is in the Rosemont / Allstate Arena commercial area next to the Jimmy John's. The menu is the shortest available with only chicago shawarma, steak shawarma and falafel options on a plate or pita. Not a big deal and probably best for that location which is mostly professionals for lunch (I used to work near there and all the eateries were crazytown during the lunch hour). In addition you can get rice or fried potato chips on the side. This is really a pretty good deal under $10. My go-to is the chicken shawarma on pita loaded. I'm so glad to have another option near Allstate that is quick and tasty! Highly recommended.

It's great to finally have a TJ in the downtown Evanston area, even if it's across street from Jewel and a block north of Whole Foods. TJ is a different experience. This new store is no different almost to the point of being a bit boring. This TJ is like a large shell of the more quaint, cozy TJ stores that have been in the Chicagoland area for years. Those stores have a personality. This store is just that: a store. Maybe it will develop some style and uniqueness over time but I was so disappointed in the sterile look and feel. So spacious yet so hollow. All that aside, you will still find all the TJ products you've come to love from your Speculoos to your chocolate covered [insert seed / nut / fruit here]. Just don't expect anything more at this location.

When people state almost as fact that this is the best French restaurant in the Bay area, I question if they've been to more than a couple of French restaurants. I'm not knocking this joint because it is a fine joint but with all these lofty expectations it does not live up to them. That said it is still very good (assuming you don't expect THE BEST). I recommend lunch on Fridays as the most affordable deal with the Prix Fixe. The pre-meal tasting samples from the chef are a nice touch. Overall an enjoyable meal and experience but nothing spectacular. Our fish (halibut) was dry and desperately needed more sauce. Decent joint for a date or entertaining business partners/clients. Feel like the interior could use a refresh.

Was in town for the Stanley Film Festival and jonesing for something decent and not too far from the hotel. Ratings on this joint were decent so we hit it up. Yep, adequate. Not great but fine for our needs. Tex-mex is all right and service is fine. Prices also on par with the type of establishment this is. Won't blow you away but will hit the spot and I'd go back next time I'm in the area. Plus it's not far from Stanley Hotel and right off the highway as you enter town from the east.
