Great place for breakfast. Everyone is very friendly and the owners even stopped by our table to make sure we were happy. The food was amazing and was out quickly. We enjoyed it on their outdoor deck. Servers are great they have a lot of cool local products for sale in the downstairs as well. We will be going again - always a highlight to a trip to Killington.

Just ate breakfast here on Sunday and it was hands down one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. This place is an absolute must if you are in the area. The blueberry pancakes were amazing! They also had some pretty warm fuzzy socks for sale in the gift shop!

Would you like human feces or urine with your pancakes? The word locally, where my inlaws have lived their whole lives, is that the food, service, and atmosphere have always been amazing. A sign of a great restaurant when locals love's the huge BUT: after my wife jokingly made a comment about the horrible bathroom situation after waiting for 20 minutes (two unisex bathrooms for the entire restaurant including staff!!) our vetern-looking waitress innocently shared that as a result of this, during peak season (in the fall with the thousands of leaf peepers) the waitresses have to go to the bathroom outside in the woods behind the restaurant to keep up with their many tables. Further, she admitted that toilet paper is occasionally not an option. After our suggesting outhouses she, again, over shared that the owner said they were too expensive. I'm sure a quick skat search in the rear woods of the restaurant would quickly confirm this. Food tasted great though!

If I am in VT, even if I am 30 miles away, I have to find a reason to get breakfast here. Heck, I don't need a reason. This is one of my simple pleasures that has made my life that much better going here. Food is great and the place gives me the warm, fuzzy feelings.

This place was great to warm you up on a cold morning with hot cooked pancakes with real pure Vermont maple syrup. Bests I've ever had. Thank you, Sugar and Spice

I WAS AT KILLINGTON ON 3/30 AND 3/31/11 AND ATE AT SUGAR & SPICE THE SECOND DAY. IF I HAD KNOWN IT IS SO GOOD I WOULD HAVE GOT UP EARLY SO I COULD BE AT KILLINGTON AT 9 AM WHEN THE LIFTS OPEN. I had the 1/2 order blueberry pancakes and side of ham. Both were excellent. The pancakes came with a generous amount of whipped butter. Coffee was refilled and service was good and friendly. I thought their prices were very good, especially given the cost of maple syrup. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. To me, it is the taste of Vermont and should not be missed!!! When I paid the tab I found a very good Killington sticker at the cash register and it was $1.50, not $4 like the ones at Kilington Sports on the mountain. I also bought maple sugar candy, which was $2.50 for the small bag. It was good, bit not soft & creamy like the ones at Maple Grove in St. Johnsbury. Still, it was very good and I enjoyed the candies very much. After breakfast I wandered around and took pics of the tapped maple trees which have old fashioned metal buckets hanging from the taps. Oh, and don't get surprised by the mannikins inside the front door or at the counter!!.
