SHAMAS INTERVIEW WITH JESS
USA - Colorado

On Friday Jess was interviewed by Shamas from Audio Nation radio, it was the first time they met & the first time Jess had done a radio interview. I think it's prettys safe to say they got on well but you can be the judge of that. Anyway Shamas is a awesome guy & we want to thank him for the opportunity & exposure & we can't wait until we chat again!

REVIEW BY TONY BATES
AUST - Melbourne

On Saturday we received an email from Tony from 3MDR 97.1FM Mountain District Radio & he had these really nice words to say. He is also playing us this Wednesday morning from 11am so be sure to tune in: www.3mdr.com

“she was loud is a band to watch out for as they are heavy transformers of the rock/metal scene; in fact if they were any harder they’d be transposed into the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It’s not often that one hears vocals of this kind on a heavy track, but Jess sure delivers in a way that cannot be emulated. The tracks on ‘plastic demons’ are all well-constructed with great production and some very tight musical interplay. Forget the others, this band kicks you in the butt, gets you involved and makes you wonder why you’ve missed out on them to date. Rock/Metal attracts a lot of wannabes, but she was loud are in a class of their own and others will tread where they have lead. Yes there are riffs a plenty, but beneath that lies true talent and a love of the genre-rarely seen, yet alone heard, so …you’ve been told….what are you going to do now? You are going to catch them live and/or buy this very strong EP-no arguments.”

'She Was Loud' is the love child of some 90's grunge homesick aliens
Introduction
I remember sitting on the bus on the way home from school and even though the trip was long & those shitty seats were hard, if I had my walkman the journey would be alright. I would replay albums over & over, dissecting their genius, while zoning the nutter in the corner. Watching Rage on a Saturday morning had become my religion & the bands played the hymns.

I would turn up my parents stereo one click from inaudible distortion & would mosh in my friends living rooms, buzzing after raiding our parents liquor cabinets. The feeling was something new & it was overdue. I loved that time & I miss it.

So with a little help from my friends a team of like minded homesick aliens was assembled to put their stamp on a record that gives a nod to those on the posters that once plastered my bedroom wall.
