Netafim recently won a $10 million contract to supply an end-to-end drip irrigation solution for Senegal Sugar Company (CSS). This project will supply Senegal’s largest private employer with a fully automated river-to-plantation solution, which is one of the most innovative systems ever installed in the region. Primary and secondary pump stations, reservoirs, a network of flexible pipes and more, will help CSS become more effective in the face of growing environmental challenges.

The third and final day of #Agritech begins with an organized bus tour to Kibbutz Magal, one of the many tours to our three Israeli sites that we organized throughout the exhibition. Today's tour includes dozens of farmers, dealers and industry players from France, India, Thailand, China and Italy.

Netafim at Milan Expo 2015 - Focusing on fighting food scarcity

Besides participating in the crop wall at Expo 2015 Milano we are involved in several sustainability-related initiatives in the Milan region, which are based on the theme “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.”
Most prominent among these initiatives are two demo projects underscoring our efforts in fighting food scarcity - cultivating corn through a comprehensive drip system and the development of agricultural solutions for the world’s over-900 million smallholders. These are two projects that are led by us and use our innovative technology and modern drip systems to fight food scarcity.
