I'll have to read more about SLAPP, but I think this cause (creating/strengthening protection/s against the abuse of SLAPP) is worthy of our time.

Stand up for free speech online. Help us fight back against bogus lawsuits, like the one recently used to attack The Oatmeal.
Urge Congress to Support Anti-SLAPP Legislation to Protect Free Speech, Both Online and Off. Late one evening in June 2012, Matthew Inman, the comic genius behind The Oatmeal, received a knock on his ...

It's not that Brent's is bad, it's that it's not good enough to come to a second time. We had the Crawfish Nachos to start. Someone had dialed the salt up to eleven on those. It was hard to get down, but they came recommend so we powered through aided by at least one glass of water each. For entrees, we had Crawfish Etoufee and Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya. The portions were very, very large. The jambalaya came with a side of green beans and the etoufee came with rice. The flavors of both dishes weren't bad, they just weren't super flavorful. There's a Cajun-style restaurant up the street from us which makes/sells comparable dishes. I'd rather save myself the trip to Edmond and eat there instead. Again, not bad, just nothing special.

I order from the Del City Volcano at least once every two weeks. They have a fairly large selection of rolls and items from the grill. Their drinks are all right, nothing special. Everything is at a good price point, and no food option is bad.

The chicken bun appetizers were great. I think the salad was dressed with a wasabi sauce, which was great, but potent. The karaage over rice was good. The ferry was excellent and it was served at just the right temperature. The ramen itself was good. The broth was flavorful, but not very spicy. What caught me off guard were the noodles: the noodles were closer to vermicelli in size than I had thought they would be. Noodle size notwithstanding, it was a good bowl of soup.

Diane, our bartender, was great. Her customer service skills are awesome! The dishes were pretty good too (Hot Smoke/Cold Smoke and white fish chowder).

I highly recommend the butter corn ramen. When the kitchen is in the swing of things, it's delicious. When the kitchen is struggling, the dish is still good. As advertised, it tastes strongly of butter/ed corn, which is incredible in the dark (soy-flavored) broth. There are a number of things you can add to the broth (e.g., medium-boiled eggs, black mushrooms, etc.), but the dish holds it own without additions. The food's presentation is nice enough. The portions are generous. The atmosphere is lively. Space in the restaurant is limited.

The food is excellent and most meals' sizes are adequate if not generous. The flavors are bold and tend toward being tart (which is appropriate for Brazilian food and seafood dishes in particular). The drinks are good; the alcohol almost never overpowers the other drink elements, but the alcohol is there and will sneak up on you quickly. The servers are pretty good, but Hector especially is amazing.
