I'll have to read more about SLAPP, but I think this cause (creating/strengthening protection/s against the abuse of SLAPP) is worthy of our time.

Stand up for free speech online. Help us fight back against bogus lawsuits, like the one recently used to attack The Oatmeal.
Urge Congress to Support Anti-SLAPP Legislation to Protect Free Speech, Both Online and Off. Late one evening in June 2012, Matthew Inman, the comic genius behind The Oatmeal, received a knock on his ...

The food is excellent and most meals' sizes are adequate if not generous. The flavors are bold and tend toward being tart (which is appropriate for Brazilian food and seafood dishes in particular). The drinks are good; the alcohol almost never overpowers the other drink elements, but the alcohol is there and will sneak up on you quickly. The servers are pretty good, but Hector especially is amazing.

It's well lit, clean, and pretty well maintained. I've never felt unsafe there, but I'm only briefly there at the start and end of the work day. There are plenty of parking spaces but the first two or three half-floors are reserved for YMCA members. The garage has several levels, all accessible by elevator only--there are no working elevators.

I went there Christmas Eve for a few last-minute gifts. I wasn't the only one. But even with the great number of customers making their way around the store searching for both things known and unknown, an employee made the time to ask if I needed help. I did. He helped. It sounds simple, and it is, but on Christmas Eve, I really appreciate simple things like courtesy and service. With my books in my hand I joined a river of customers in the check-out line. The store had an employee directing customers to cashiers so the wait time would be kept to a minimum. She was young and dressed all in blue. When I drew next to her in line, she told me the she was stressed by the crowds but she was dealing with it by complimenting ever person in line. Then she smiled and said she liked my scarf. And then I was off to the cashier at the end. The cashier worked quickly. She was pleasant without being familiar and she knew her way around the register. In less than two minutes, she had bagged my books and put a receipt in my hands. She was the perfect bookend to my B&N Christmas Eve experience. Service: 5/5

The only thing bad I have to say about Cafe 7 is that they sometimes forget to deliver your soup to your table. This isn't much of a problem, because it's an understandable mistake with an easy solution, but it's the only one I can think of. Everything else about this place, with one other exception (below), is fantastic. Seriously, everything they make is delicious. I like their pastas and their salads and their soups. I am a big fan of their specials too. Everything is well-priced and all dishes are generous in size (except their fresh-cut fruit cups, which are nicely sized but not worth the asking price, in my opinion). For this guy, when lunch arrives, there's no better value or taste than Café 7.

Delicious! I have yet to be disappointed by anything I've ordered. This is the one restaurant in Norman that I insist on taking my out-of-town friends to.
