Restaurant serving creative takes on ramen & other Japanese fare in a modern, artwork-adorned space.- Google
"Get the tonkotsu ramen, $9 - the broth is rich and borderline creamy, even."
"Not bad ramen, interior decor/atmosphere is nice."

Waraku is a great neighborhood noodle restaurant. It's reasonably priced. And noodles are delicious. I like their salad dressing in particular.

Pretty good ramen in a very modern environment. I got the standard tonkotsu ramen, which came out very fast. The broth was very thick and rich and the noodles were decent. I think a higher broth to noodle ratio would have made it a bit better. I can't say I'm a fan of the pork belly though. The fatty part had no bite to it and the meat part tasteless and a bit dry.

The best ramen place in the city - both tonkotsu and shoyu ramens are delicious and so are gyoza and the sashimi salad. Nice ambiance and family (and kid-friendly). We order ramen to-go often and enjoy it during foggy San Francisco evenings.

The best ramen spots in Japantown in my opinion. Come early on the weekends because there will be a line(they don't take reservation). But you'll probably be safe to get a table if you come on a weekday. Smoked eggs, fresh garlic and pork belly goodness. Protip: for some odd reason they don't advertise this on the menus inside but it is listed on the menu they leave out front but get the "Deluxe Ramen" that comes with everything

Love the attempt, but both times I've been the ramen has been cold. Broth is great and the kakuni tasty, sadly; only close to great.

My favorite place to get ramen in Japan town. One of my favorite things about the ramen here is the broth, which has a nice smokey flavor, which gives it a bit more of an edge compared to the other ramen places I've been. Come here with some friends and grab some kaarage, sake, and a pitcher of Sapporo and you'll have a great time.

Well y'all. I've found my favorite ramen in the Bay (for now). The ramen is AMAZE but their other food items were also all REALLY good which I didn't expect of a ramen-specific place. Worth the wait (if there is one). Get the tonkotsu ramen, $9 - the broth is rich and borderline creamy, even. The mouthfeel and taste is a must-try and the noodles are perfect. Comes with fresh garlic - ask for a garlic press! We also tried: Sashimi salad - which is HUGE for $9 and totally a steal Tako (octopus) wasabi & ika shio kara (salted squid), $3 each - portion was small but so fresh -- interesting and concentrated flavors Agedashi tofu $5 - HOLY - yes plz Takoyaki $4.5 - ON POINT DEFINITELY RETURNING AND RECOMMENDING. Oh yes, the interior is beautiful and upscale. But I'm hurr to eat.
