I did a shift as an out of hours GP for the first time in at least 10 years in 2015. Now, I had access to a lot more information about the patient. One patient attended sweaty and with his heart racing. An ECG showed a fast normal heart rate. This is the…

You images are of text documents that have many more words than usually would be in the most text heavy presentation. Have any studies been done of eye-tracking in different projected presentations?
Presentations fail because even more science.

lovely account of the benefits of flipped class:)
Just had my best ever class meeting.

A really great 'flipped environment' moment. Students had been having difficulties with understanding what the `index` method did in python (finds position of first occurrence of a substring in a string). So I planned on concentrating on that during the class. That's when the awesome started: the students took over :) They asked a bunch of great questions and we quickly arrived at wanting to find the position of all the occurrences (not just the first occurrence). So I wrote that up as a little challenge for next week (which includes an example string which is about our cats...).

This was such a fun meeting and I'm very thankful to the students for making it so. If I hadn't been using a flipped environment they would not have had enough base knowledge to be able to get to where we got (which is far further then I had planned on getting us).
