If you buy a currently airing TV show season on Amazon Instant Video, does that price include the subsequent episodes that haven’t aired yet?

Are you on a second or third career? I'm writing an article on finding a new career and I'd love your input.

Anything specific? Mine was a switch out of necessity more than anything else. I was working in IT and couldn't find a job after I moved. Ended up getting into analysis work instead.

Been having problems with dropouts on Google Hangouts lately. Would upgrading my Broadband Router help? It's a Linksys Wireless G, 2.4 GHz.

Hiya. Have not got into the Google Hangout thing yet but this looks like a good article: http://www.innovation-series.com/2013/08/02/how-to-have-a-world-class-google-hangout/ I recently updated a my router to this model and really like it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320115 Even though I do not have a 5Ghz network card it more than doubled my 2.4 G speeds I was getting. Not sure there is a real simple answer to your question since my quick google of the Google Hangout subject points out that there are many different variables involved - possible ports to be opened, bandwidth required, etc. I can say for sure that video streaming is far smoother now, especially hd video.

Do you feel like you are defined by your art? Lately, I wish that I didn't feel that way.  I sometimes wish that I made music purely for enjoyment and not as a way to identify myself.

I've been focusing on process rather than product lately, and that's been good. But I set my goals too high and I've been burning out, physically burning out. Focusing on my art while working my full time teaching job, taking care of my son and trying to be a good husband is difficult.

I wish that I can be comfortable identifying myself as a teacher. I'm a good teacher. But I can't "just" be a teacher. Wish I could.

Any advice from people successfully navigating these waters is appreciated.

Nerds Arguing About Spaceships (Acoustic)
Works in Progress by John Anealio This has been the opening song for my live set for more than two years, yet I'm only now getting around to recording it. This acoustic version is pretty much how it sounds live. I'm currently working on adding drums, bass a...

When working on a project (novel, song, blog, etc.), do you see value in taking a break for a few days or do you work consistently each day?

I work weekdays.  Weekends are consumed by parenting.

The Crescent Sonata (Solo Guitar)
Works in Progress by John Anealio I was really hoping that the solo acoustic guitar version of this piece would work, but I don't think it does.  Sounds a little empty to me.  What do you think? My initial thought was to have the solo guitar be the base and...

1 minute of a 17 minute prog rock song
Works in Progress by John Anealio I've had an abiding love for progressive rock since my teen years. But for some reason, my own music has never reflected this. So here's my shot at composing a progressive rock piece. I ambitiously gave it the working title...
