My girlfriend and I traveled down to Orlando for vacation to visit the parks and do some golfing. We decided to book a tee time at MetroWest based on reviews and the price compared to some other courses in the area. Upon our arrival the course was absolutely beautiful and located in a more "up-scale" area of Orlando. When we walked into the pro-shop to check in for our tee time we were greeted by the attendant who immediately asked us if we had a change of clothes, pointing out that we weren't wearing "proper golf attire." We were both taken back by this since we were there on vacation and didn't think much of how we were dressed to go play golf on a very hot day. I can understand the logic behind the rule but it was not as if we had shown up in tattered rags or our swimsuits to play golf. We were adequately dressed for the occasion. Not to mention that this rule is not made clear on either their website or the site that I booked the tee time through. After we explained this too him he snidely made the comment that we could go down the road to Walmart to buy a change of clothes since the apparel in the pro shop is expensive. If not, we were not granted permission to play on our their course Needless to say, we were both entirely insulted by the experience as we were looked down on simply because we didn't comply with their dress code. The fact that we both share a common love for the game of golf should be enough pre-requisite to play on the course.

Horrible!!! I waited 45 minutes after my tee time to tee off. Pay $35 and only got in 9 holes. I called first and they told me that it was "wide open", however the starter told me that it was an obvious lie to get me to come there to golf. Nice course but liars in club house. If you don't mind playing a 7 hour round then this might be an OK place for you.

Don't pay attention to any review older than 2 years. And to some extent older than 9 months. The course has been rebuilt, and is under new management. It's a wide open course upon which you will not find alot of places to lose a ball. Still some challenge to the place, but mostly in terms of course management. It's a resort course with solid greens. The rest of the course is in admirable shape. The tee boxes still continue to be a challenge, so just stick it on a tee.

What has happened to this place? They just did a million dollar renovation 6 months ago and it looks like it is ready to go under. Sad and disappointing. Don't waste your money at any price.

First time we've played here. As public courses go its just par. Starter was friendly but he should have restricted the day to foursomes only. We were flooded with singles and twosomes. We were in town for the NBAA and took a couple of customers out before the show. The place was very busy and felt we were pushed the whole day. One was a B player and the other a D so slightly slow but nothing out of the ordinary. (No way to compete with twosomes) No water fountains anywhere and beer girls were only out on the back nine due to a church group playing so no Drinks. Course also has no Ball washers either. Carts are GPS and in good shape. Greens were consistent but slow. Pin location was accurate and markers jived for the most part with GPS. Several of the tee boxes were rough with no signs of backups. That's it from here.

Over priced for an only "OK" course. There is nothing particularly interesting about it. Neither the layout nor the course condition is worthy of a premium greens fee. At best, MW is a $35 course.

Very over priced!!!The layout of the course is very nice. Pretty wide fairways and the hills make it fun. The reason I gave it 3 stars was due to pricing. WAY over priced. They live off of the local players that are retired and members. I mean the course is usually around $80 until after 2pm and it's still $60 for twilight hours? Get real! They could make so much more money if they lowered prices. I've only been able to play twice because I am a hardcore weekend warrior but can't spend that kind of money regularly. Stop being money hungry and lower your prices. It also cost around $30 for a 6 pack of budlight. It's like being in an airport. Ridiculous. Go play Northshore Country Club. It's just as good and so much better pricing.
