Our thanks to organizers Deighan Remondous, George Foufas and the Saskatoon Greek Community for another successful Ouzopalooza. The 2017 event raised $20,000 (accepted here by CEO Steve Shannon) for pediatric care at the hospital.

More than 100 people turned out for the Foundation's Doctor Series event last night. The guest of honour was Dr. Michael Levin, new MS Clinical Research Chair at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Levin's office and lab will be at Saskatoon City Hospital, where he'll work closely with the MS Clinic and the Cameco MS Neuroscience Research Center. Dr. Levin told the crowd about his motivations for coming to Saskatchewan and what he hopes to accomplish during the next seven years.

A MasterPeeAce: The mural is finished and hung on the 7th floor bridge between the Rehab Ward and Clinic. It's a beauty. Thanks to Kevin Pee-Ace for capturing the spirit of Bringing Home to Rehab.

Funding MS Research: The Foundation was pleased to be part of the announcement introducing Dr. Michael Levin as new University of Saskatchewan Chair in Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Research. Dr. Levin will work to increase research and improve clinical care in the province.

The Foundation raised $5 million for the position, which perfectly complements the vital work performed by researchers at the Cameco MS Research Center and physicians in the MS Clinic. Both of these are located at Saskatoon City Hospital, making it a unique facility in North America.
