Our family stayed at the resort the last week in May in a two bedroom suite overlooking the flower fields and with a beautiful ocean view. The management went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, checking on the room at arrival and leaving lovely treats in the room. The suite was beautiful. Their dedication to ensuring a great experience was demonstrated further after I was injured in an accident nearby. They couldn't have been more helpful and generous.

Stayed here for one night. Great location. Traditional hotel with impressive communal areas and lobby. Good meeting space. Rooms clean and well kept but not modern. Bed good. Bathroom very small. Ok for a short stopover.

We bought this timeshare 15 years ago and have had the best experiences. Awesome resort, close to everything!

Just spent my first night here, and I'm so glad we found this place. The staff is great and the location is central- walking distance to Grand Pacific Palisades Resort & Hotel. Our room is a queen room, facing the street, so there is some traffic noise, but nothing some earplugs couldn't block out. It is very clean- new looking laminate floors, which I much prefer to a grody old carpet. Plenty of closet space, fridge & microwave, comfy bed... Neighborhood is not sketchy. And free parking! Their low key reservation method totally worked, so don't be put off by that. I will definitely stay here again.

Awful experience! I am ashamed to say that I am a timeshare owner with this being my "home" resort. I had my reservations for a year for my families first stay. When we arrived at the resort we were told our room was not available. They put us in a different room. When we finally got into our timeshare room, it was not the one I had reservations for because that one still would not be available for another couple of days. I'm livid at this point but trying to enjoy my families first use of our timeshare. The stove did not work, we had to fix it so we can cook, the televisions were not hooked up correctly so we had to fix that as well. The planned events (movies) were not working properly. The resort is nice but I am so embarrassed and ashamed to be part of the "family", as i was told when I bought the timeshare. WOW!! If this is how family is welcomed then I don't want a part of it! The only reason I am giving 1 star is because I need to... The staff is very friendly, Sean at the front desk, maybe a supervisor comped a breakfast buffet for the trouble, but more should've been done!

A nice property and you can't beat it's proximity to Lego Land. Room was nice. Staff was always nice and courteous. It is very kid friendly with a dedicated kids water/play area. The main adult pool is nice as well. Kids are allowed in the adult pool on weekends but no during the week, which we weren't told about until we were asked to leave the area with our child. They do offer a free shuttle that will drive you and pick you up within a 5 mile radius that was very handy. You just have to reserve it. Note that it is a time share property as well and the "concierge" was pushy to get us into a "showing". Didn't appreciate that part of it. If you are just going for Lego Land, this is a good option. If you want to spend more time in Carlsbad I suggest looking at options there.

Not recommended for business travelers. The WiFi was weak and sporadic, the hotel was crawling with screaming kids and vacationers, there's no complimentary breakfast of any kind, they do not issue Hilton Honors points, and the common areas are showing signs of wear and tear. The food at the affiliated onsite restaurant was also poor.
