Had never tried a Vegan restaurant before, but was incredibly impressed with this place. Caesar salad was excellent, paired with a nice beer recommendation from our server (David, I believe). On service, it was impeccable. Never had to ask for a thing, and he even quickly slipped me the bill and closed us out while my date had stepped away for a few moments. Perfection. Thank you again, will return and recommend!

I ordered the SOUTHERN PLATTER with seasoned tofu scramble, smoked collard greens and housemade rosemary biscuit with Vegan country gravy, and a side of Sweet Potato Chowder. And, minus all the bacon fat and cream in the original Southern style Scrambled Eggs and Collards with Biscuits and Gravy, this is reminiscent of the Texas Country style comfort food my father would cook up when I was a child, except this was a flavor bomb. I can only describe the experience as a blissfully delectable culinary masterpiece. CAFE FLORA is as good as they say it is. It is the real deal. Cafe Flora is truly an exceptional five-star restaurant that delivers phenomenal world-class vegetarian cuisine. The best vegetarian restaurant I've ever been to and I've been a vegetarian for twenty-eight years, and been all over North America. My complements to the chef for an exquisite meal and thank you to the staff for an amazing dining experience.

This is about our third time visiting Flora, and it seems like the service and value have gone down a few notches. We know about the legendary wait for breakfast, so we were here 10 minutes after opening and were seated fast, but then service nosedived. I wanted a substitute (on the most expensive breakfast option, I think that is reasonable), and the waitress said, sure, yeah, whatever, but, surprisingly given her stellar enthusiasm, there was no substitute when delivered. No check-in to see how our meal was, our waitress just disappeared for a bit, probably had something to do! What I got was a plate unimaginatively thrown together with the least bit of effort. So what do I do? Review based on our first visit, a few years ago, where the food and service was fantastic (5 star), or review based on last Saturday morning, where being a customer seemed to hassle them (a 3 star)? The ambiance of this place is wonderful, and I bet with a few changes in management the restaurant could be back to its glory, but this will be our last visit on my dime for a while.

While not the cheapest place, you get what you pay for. The food is amazing, the service is great and the unique atmosphere is really wild. I loved it. Lots of running water and light. Very different.

We started going to Cafe Flora right after we shifted to Seattle in 2014. Love the vegan Hoppin' John Fritters and the vegan Forager Scramble. We come here only on weekends as we love the weekend brunch options. Had come for dinner once but didn't like the food much. The ambience is awesome. We celebrated our Second Wedding Anniversary here, so it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Great food, great drinks, friendly service, INCREDIBLY slow service. Didn't get our dinner order to the kitchen until ~45 minutes after we placed it. Gave us some free bread and butter and were super friendly about it, but still not a great experience. Slow to box extra food, delayed in bringing the check. Want to love the place and leave five stars, but can't quite based on the most recent experience.

My boyfriend and I were there in the mid 2000s, and I never knew such luscious and delicious vegetarian cuisine existed. If I can ever make it back to Seattle, I will definitely be dining there once again. It's just not dinner, it's an experience, and a culinary adventure.

They're really great with wheelchair patrons with a big, sunny dining area that's easy to navigate. I love this spot for brunch especially and we've had dinner once or twice there as well. The jasmine tea is my favorite! There aren't TVs so it's easier to get seating during a Seahawks game. Otherwise, call ahead to get on the list.
