Watch Out: This Isn't a Contention-Based Model - Tintri designs its arrays from the ground up for virtualization and flash. Plus, the units of management and IO allocation on Tintri arrays are per-VM, so Tintri’s architecture doesn’t let a single workload crowd out others. But this design makes testing harder, because the system is designed to allocate IO fairly to workloads, rather than letting one workload take over and impact others.

Play Storage Tintris at VMworld 2015 - One of the pains we hear from storage admins is that in working with LUNs and volumes they feel like they are constantly playing Storage Tetris. They’re moving cumbersome shapes around to make everything fit. And it's pretty frustrating when their storage just doesn't want to cooperate.

Very slow service. Took forever to get our order. The excuse was that they were short staffed. Not sure why were they not controlling the flow of guests if they were short staffed
