Best hotel I have ever stayed at - the staff were above and beyond delightful, helpful, kind, personable, and professional. The hotel is beautifully appointed, spacious rooms, and the Firefly restaurant next door - just stop it. So good it's crazy. Nicole (both of you!), Tee, Meredith, Shaunnessy, John, Calvin - what stellar staff this place has!!!

Great Hotel and even better customer service. I had a tough time getting to D.C. with flight delays and lost luggage. The staff, especially Kristen, was super nice and extremely accommodating. Since my luggage was lost, Kristen provided me with toiletries and all I had to do was for something and she made sure it was done. It was like having a family member working for the hotel which was extremely refreshing. The hotel is in a prime location and very nice, but the outstanding customer service is what is going to make me use this hotel every time I’m in D.C. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

The was a cockroach in my room, and pillows were terrible and I was really difficult to sleep on them. The price is also high. However, the staff are friendly and the location is great.

My mom and I stayed at the Hotel Madera in the Spring of 2009 and had a wonderful experience. The staff were really great and the place was very close to the metro. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel at home. The hotel is not much to look at from the outside, but the rooms inside are exceptional and large. I would stay again for sure.

Staff was very very nice and helpful. Rooms were nicely decorated but there are some signs of age like poorly repaired water damage areas. Bathroom in our room was sectioned into 2 rooms. The bath / shower room was pretty small but that didn't bother me. One day they forgot to clean our room and we had to call and wait for it to get done.

Amazing hotel. The customer service is second to none. I traveled with my two dogs and they provided beds and treats. The room was spacious and up to date. Everything I asked the staff handled promptly. I've stayed at other kimpton hotels but this one is the standard. I cannot speak to parking because I had valet included with my room but street parking seemed limited.

The Hotel Madera is our favorite place to stay in DC. Not only is it conveniently located- the staff goes out of their way to help ensure you have an enjoyable trip. Special props to Fernando and everyone working Memorial Day weekend and the days afterwards. You rock!
