Despite going on a weekday night with a mostly empty restaurant, service was surprisingly slow. Our server was pleasant and attentive, though. There were a lot of interesting things on the menu, but the food was disappointing. Everything we tried - salsa, soup, beans, guacamole, chicken - was heavily oversalted. I'm fairly sensitive to this, but even my wife, who loves salt, found it overpowering. My chicken had a strange unpleasant taste to it, like it was either freezer burned or simply of very low quality, or maybe both. The restaurant's proximity to us and its interesting sounding menu had us excited, but we won't be back.

Been there twice now, food is good, service is good. The prices are what I would expect for Wayland, it's not like you are going to taco bell. I would and have recommended Viva to others. Went with a special both times, as did my girlfriend and we both enjoyed authentic flavors and food that wasn't simply cookie cutter Mexican.

Just came back from a terrible lunch at Viva, the new mexican place that replaced Morns. The service was HORRIBLE. Wasn't even that busy and took a HOUR to get a burrito?! We almost left without the food because we had to get back to work. Finally got the burrito and wasn't even that good, also it cost me $15, no lunch specials?! Come on.

We had dinner there last night and thought the food was excellent.....extremely fresh, home-made, nice presentation. The service was good- tad slower than we would prefer, but still decent. We will definitely be back.
