Happy Tabletop Day everyone!

And what a great day to release the software roadmap detailing the future for d20Pro.

Please drop by the forums to read and drop any comments you may have. Your feedback can shape the roadmap before we nail it down for the Kickstarter.

I had thought this: http://forums.wolflair.com/showpost.php?p=179845&postcount=4  referred to D20Pro.  :)

I'll say this as a RW Alpha and someone who not only used the D20Pro KS to obtain D20Pro (for me, and for 2 friends who are co-DMs), I obviously don't have an objection to supporting software projects that I believe in, but at the same time I do wonder what form the KS for Unlimited will take.

For example, what are your plans for D20Pro owners?  How will licensing look, etc.  I just saw that Extensions are going to be folded into Unlimited, which is somewhat disappointing as in terms of 3.x/Pf, magic is really the worst part of D20Pro.

I am certainly looking forward to seeing Unlimited, given the limitations I've run into with my Pirates campaign (being forced to use exact squares, which means I can't really use the grid for long, thin ships or being unable to run abstract ship combat), and I'd like to use it for other game systems.  I'd love to see how it could run an old system like Twilight 2000, for example.

I guess what I'm saying is that the technical details have been great.  I'd like to know some of the more logistical details. :)

Hail and well met d20Pro Gamers,

The software roadmap for d20Pro Unlimited will be revealed next week on the d20Pro forums. Your support and feedback is what makes d20Pro great and our 'for gamers, by gamers' creed must continue!

The d20Pro Team looks forward to sharing these details. We will post again here with a link once the roadmap is published. Then we will have a couple weeks to hammer on them with you before the Kickstarter campaign goes live.

d20Pro friend and ally, Rachel Ventura, over at Legendary Games sent word of their interesting Kickstarter. Check it out for yourself! Odds are good we will see Legendary/Mythic content in d20Pro in the not so distant future.

"The massive expansion to the Pathfinder RPG Mythic rules in three print books, featuring spells, feats, monsters, mythic paths, and more!"

Hail and well met Gamers,

We have wrapped the first day of filming for the d20Pro Unlimited Kickstarter video! Our forte is building software, not talking about it in front of the camera; however, we feel we got some great footage and can't wait to share this with you all. More Kickstarter news will be shared steadily from here on out, please stay tuned! :)

Thanks +Mike McCammon I'm glad you like the announcement. +Steven Wells the future is indeed bright, like Carl Sagan's galaxy-rise of 400 billion stars. And +Matt Andro is spot on - the ideal VTT always augments the game and is never the bottleneck. Thank-you both for the constructive dialog.

RealmWorks integration is something that we've been discussing with our longtime friends and allies at Lone Wolf Development. Just as we pioneered importing creatures from Hero Lab, d20Pro Unlimited will lead the charge to integrate with RealmWorks.

Also the upcoming Rules plugins will allow for key features like Player edits of stats. The plugins are going to remove the limits for how d20Pro can be used to augment gameplay.

This technology Kickstarter is the springboard that will take d20Pro from good to truly great. The roadmap will be extensively detailed and be carried out by some talented, driven software engineers that will tackling the task full time.

Thanks again for the feedback. It's the gamers in our community that make d20Pro strong and motivates us to rise to the occasion.
