Solder Fumes Extractor Circuit
While soldering we all face problem of toxic fumes. These fumes are of lead solder wire and flux. Combinedly, these fumes are highly toxic if excess amount is inhaled. In order to solve this problem, here we had designed a simple circuit called solder fume extractor using an op-amp IC which removes fumes from the soldering area. The circuit posted here is of automatic type which runs exhaust fan during soldering and stops exhaust fan when soldering iron is kept on soldering stand.

DIY Strobe Light Circuit.
Here is one another application of one of the most versatile IC NE555, DIY Strobe light circuit. A strobe light is also called stroboscopic lamp and is used to produce regular flash of light. The general strobe light has very high flash energy of about 150 joules and very few millisecond of discharge time. Due to this property, it emits flash power of several kilowatts.
