Mortgage bond prices initially opened slightly weaker this morning but drifted into positive territory keeping rates in check to slightly better. 

Mortgage bond prices remain near unchanged mid-morning Friday holding the gains seen Thursday afternoon. Trade is quiet. 

Mortgage bond prices are lower in early afternoon trade applying upward pressure to mortgage rates. Rates are under pressure ahead of the release of the minutes from the last Fed meeting. 

US stock futures were higher this morning and the DOW was up 25 points at 10am et PRICING. 

Mortgage bond prices are near unchanged on the day holding the strong gains from yesterday. 

Mortgage bond prices remain sharply higher this morning after drifting lower late yesterday afternoon. This erased those losses and then some. 

Mortgage bond prices are near unchanged this morning keeping rates relatively in check. While this isn't great news it isn't terrible either considering things are often very volatile following an extended holiday weekend. 

Personal income rose 0.5% and outlays rose 0.2%. Traders were expecting a 0.2% increase in income and outlays. 

Mortgage bond prices remain sharply lower mid-morning driving mortgage rates higher. Rates are under pressure from strong jobs data.
