Good morning all.
Another beautiful day here on the Norfolk coast! It’s clean up Sunday for our RNLI volunteers, ensuring our station and equipment is always clean, tidy and fit for purpose.
You can do your bit too on this clean up day, grab a carrier bag and litter picker from the boathouse and try to fill the bag. You’ll be surprise how much litter you’ll find along the beach!
The station is open until 16:00.

Good afternoon all.
You may have seen our Atlantic 85 Lifeboat heading west this morning, she’s on her way to Wells to wish Wells Lifeboat station’s long serving Coxswain Alan Frary all the best in his retirement. Alan has been volunteering for the RNLI for over 42 years and 21 of these years as Coxswain Mechanic. Both Wells Lifeboats will be afloat, along with RNLI Cromer’s All weather lifeboat and ourselves.
From all of us here at Sheringham Lifeboat Station, thank you to Alan and all the very best for the future.

Incredibly windy and bitterly cold today down here at Sheringham RNLI Lifeboat station. We’ve not launched on exercise today due to weather conditions, so it’s shore based training instead.
In other news, our new banner and posters have arrived and been erected. Also the ‘Meet the crew’ board is up on the wall for your viewing pleasure.
