On Dec. 2, 2015 I spoke at Harvard about ISIS and the media

The Australian, in conjunction with Chasing Aphrodite blogger Jason Felch, exposed Ms Wiener’s business methods in November 2014. Acting on a tip-off, this newspaper in May 2013 lodged a Freedom of Information request seeking details of the provenance of the 1800-year-old Kushan Buddha bought in 2007 for the NGA by billionaire philanthropist Ros Packer when she was chairwoman of the gallery’s acquisitions committee and worked closely with then director Ron Radford.

Bastien Varoutsikos and I have an essay on the question in The Art Newspaper, exploring the lessons learned from Palmyra. It's based on a talk I gave at Harvard last December on media coverage of iconoclasm. Seems a similar case could be made about Trump.
