Are we complicit in ISIS crimes when we share their propaganda through social media? Bastien Varoutsikos and I have an essay on the question in The Art Newspaper, exploring the lessons learned from Palmyra. It's based on a talk I gave at Harvard last December on media coverage of iconoclasm. Seems a similar case could be made about Trump.
