Great, locally inspired seafood. Great drinks. Great atmosphere. Great Friendly staff. Highly recomended, but a tad pricey.

Service was great. Got seated fairly quickly even though it was busy. Food was great across the board. Yes, it's pricey, but if you read the reviews, you know that going in.

Went to Duke's tonight for the first time. I had the Cioppino and it was absolutely outstanding! A huge portion of many kinds of seafood in a lovely hot broth. Perfect for satisfying my seafood cravings and warming me up on a cold evening! Best part was the exceptional service from the very personable staff and having the opportunity to meet Duke himself. What a wonderful and hospitable soul. I bought his cookbook (which he personalized for my wife) and after reading through it, found that it rivals the big names. Very well done! I recommend checking it out on their website. I'm in town for the week and guarantee that we'll be going back. This will be a new regular on my Seattle business trips!

This was the worst seafood I ever had! The dishes were highly over priced and the portions very small for the amount of money. I had a seafood dish at first that sounded like a selection of various seafood varieties, but when I received it it was luke warm and a soup, like a bouillabaisse. No spoon was brought and also they did not disclose that it had fennel and garlic in it. I am allergic against garlic! Then I got this dish replaced and received halibut fish and chips. That dish was also luke warm and the fish pieces were very small and thin! The entire thing had been deep fried to a extreme crispy stage where the fish was so dry it could not be removed from the crust! It did not taste at all and could be used as a weapon instead of being served as food! When asked if they had a dink card they only had one without pictures and just the list of ingredients. All other restaurants I had been in the past had pictures for their drinks. Also when asked if they had a mixer to get ice crushed, they told me they did not! Then as a desert I had ice cream. Boy that was the smallest scoop of vanilla ice cream I had for $ 3.90! And they claimed it to be local and I believe it was from Costco the same as the salad they gave us with the meal, pre-made! Overall, the best seafood place is still in Charleston SC.

I've been here a few times and the food and experience has been pretty good. I have to say the clam chowder here is very good and very well made with lots of flavor, but for over $10 a bowl, it's on the expensive side. Other good items I have personally tried are the chicken strips appetizer which comes with fries and coleslaw and is pretty big portion wise, and the chicken club sandwich. The fries are like mini-jojo's and they are very tasty. The food is pretty great all around, and so is the atmosphere. It's a great place for big parties of people, and they have a large banquet room that will accommodate. The price here is just a tad bit high, but they have had very good service. Of note, there was a sign that said best happy hour in town that might offer some relief on the pricing front. I have yet to try it out, but will soon.

Went to Duke's Chowder House for lunch when staying in SeaTac for a couple of days and was very pleased with the food. My favorite is their lobster bisque. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes chowder and seafood.

Good chowder, good bread for dipping in the chowder, but not inexpensive. Gets really loud and busy. If you want it quieter, go mid week...

As with most Duke's, the food here is consistent, albeit a bit higher priced than you would expect. They do have some unique chowders and the bar is stocked well. If you are looking for local and fresh you can't go wrong with Dukes...just bring your wallet.
