Preparing a topical sermon requires several elements. First you need to create an angel and purpose for the topical sermon. The angel tells us what the sermon is about and the purpose tells the listener what to do as a result of the sermon. Once you have your angle and purpose, you will need to create the sermon outline with main preaching point, key word and sub-points. Once this is done, you will need to write an introduction and conclusion.
