It's easy to forget how dominant Jordan was, against better competition. That 72-win 1996 team still had the Pacers and Knicks in their conference and hand-checking was legal. The flagrant foul had only recently been invented. Maybe by virtue of being smaller than LeBron, he was shiftier, more physically creative. Maybe because he had to beat the Bad Boy Pistons, he had the toughness to just dunk on people... LeBron can jump just as high but his most famous dunk was on Jason Terry, versus Jordan dunking on some of the best big men of all time (Mutumbo and Ewing – LeBron was afraid to drive with Tiago Splitter and 36-year-old Duncan guarding the paint and only won the 2013 Finals because his jump shot was falling). LeBron's book is only half-written, but I think it's too easy to forget how great Jordan was.

I don't know what's funnier, that Joseph Gordon-Levitt totally Shatner'd it or that it 100% worked. HILARIoUS

of all the random things, I LOL'd at the shoulder pads, best thing I did in my second to last year in Pop Warner is start insisting on using the WR shoulder pads even though I played Center and Nose Tackle, so much lighter, range of motion, harder for opponents to hold, etc

Guy does not get pushed backwards, and he doesn't know how to quit on a play either.

Great food, cool ambience. Nicely portioned dishes for very reasonable prices, unique use of spices. 10 beer taps, 8 red wine taps, 8 white wine taps, plus top shelf liquor and cocktails. The interior is a nice blend of industrial, modern, with a hint of speakeasy. Definitely recommend the short rib poutine and the beef/chive tomato sauce ravioli

the fish and chips and chowder here are legit. Grew up by Cape Cod in Massachusetts not far from New Bedford and two hours south of Gloucester, two of the biggest fishing ports in the world. Highly recommend this place as someone who knows fresh seafood because we could literally go buy it from the people who just caught it back home. Will be back to try more of the menu.

WAY better than the North End Pizzeria at Olympic and Bundy. As someone who just moved from Brooklyn, NY, I'm of the opinion that most California pizza is neu-age fusion hipster food or shit. This is the first legit pizza place I've found since moving here. Also has better buffalo wings than anywhere else I've tried since moving here. Highly recommend.

I've visited New Orleans 3 times now, including Emeril's restaurant and Coffee Pot on Saint Peter's (best jambalaya I've ever eaten). I can vouch for the gumbo and jambalaya being on par with native N'Awlins Cajun/Creole.

Best buffalo wings I've ever had, that includes Massachusetts, New York City, and now Los Angeles. Jumbo size, smokey, nice tango was, great buffalo flavor, don't burn your mouth off, and LARGE, not chintzy cheap meager wings. I have just as many good things to say about the New York beef/bison burger with barbecue sauce. Excellent. And great beer selection.

Great curated selection of dog treats, bones, and high quality dog food. Nice guy with his Great Dane-esque boxer mix
